admissions and referrals

Students come to us for a variety of reasons. Some students are referred as part of a temporary period of alternative provision to support their place at another school, whilst others join us full time on our school roll.​​​

Our Approach to Admissions

 

At Arise Education we aim to give every young person a fair chance to succeed. We do not select students based on academic ability or background. We welcome referrals for students with a wide range of needs, and decisions are made based on one key question:

 

• Can we safely and effectively meet the child’s or young person's needs?

 

We follow the Equality Act 2010 and Human Rights Act 1998, meaning we do not discriminate for any reason, including disability, SEND, gender, ethnicity, religion, or personal circumstances.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
