At Arise Education, we recruit people, not just positions.

Every role has clear responsibilities and high expectations, but our starting point is getting to know you – your strengths, your experiences, your passions, the things you naturally do well, and where you do your best work. We then explore how you might fit and could contribute to our mission.

This reflects the same holistic approach we take with our students: seeing the whole person, recognising potential, and creating space for growth. Qualifications, past experience and training all matter, but they’re only part of the picture. We also value character, initiative, teamwork, and your ability to connect, collaborate, and share our belief in compassionate, life-changing education.

We welcome people to visit us, see our work first hand, and have an honest conversation about what they are looking for – and what we’re looking for too. Our recruitment approach may feel different from a traditional education model but it is never unclear: every role at Arise is purposeful, accountable, and measurable. Alongside this we ensure that all members of our team are recruited in line with our Safer Recruitment Policy.

When you join us, you join a community. A place where staff are known, valued and supported to thrive. Wellbeing is more than a slogan to us - it’s part of how we lead and work together. We invest in high-quality training, meaningful professional development, and opportunities to grow into new roles and take on additional responsibilities. We pay fairly, value contribution, and listen to every member of our team, because the best solutions often come from those closest to the work.

If you want to make a tangible difference, grow professionally and be part of something purposeful, we would love to start the conversation.

Recruitment done differently

Arise education is committed to safeguarding our children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. Successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure via the DBS.

our process

Specific vacancies are listed above as and when they are available. Our recruitment process usually looks something like this:

  • Initial email contact

  • Informal visit to one of our centres to get to know us and explore opportunities.

  • Application Form - your chance to tell us about you, and why you think you might belong with us at Arise Education. Completed forms should be returned by email and will be reviewed by our team as quickly as we can.

  • Formal interview - we aim for this to be a supportive process rather than a grilling!

  • If successful, we'll then carry out further checks in accordance with our Safer Recruitment Policy

Inclusion and belonging is so important to us. We're an equal opportunities employer and we strive to be inclusive at every stage of the recruitment process. We're committed to making reasonable adjustments for candidates with specific needs or disabilities during the process. If you'd like to request an adjustment or to apply for any adverstised roles or for more information including impact profile and person specification, please contact Hannah Jacobs to start the process!
