At Arise Education, we hire for people, not just positions.

While we have clear job roles and responsibilities, we start our recruitment process by getting to know you – your skills, your passions, and the things you naturally do well – and then explore how they might fit into what we do.

This is the same holistic approach we take with our students: seeing the whole person, recognising strengths, and creating space for growth. Qualifications, past experience and training all matter, but they’re only part of the picture. What matters just as much is your ability to connect, collaborate, and share our belief in compassionate, life-changing education.

We’re always happy for people to visit, have a look around, and talk openly with us about what they are looking for – and what we’re looking for too. While our recruitment style may be different from the traditional education model, it’s never vague: every role at Arise is purposeful, accountable, and measurable.

Instead of standard job descriptions, we use impact profiles – a way of looking at how each role makes a difference to our students, to the team, and to the organisation as a whole. Impact isn’t only about big, dramatic moments (though sometimes it is); it can also be found in the everyday actions that help people feel seen, supported, and able to thrive. We know that progress and success look different for everyone – just as it does for our students – and we celebrate those differences.

When you join us, you join a community. A place where staff feel they belong and where well-being is more than a slogan – it’s a shared commitment. We invest in high-quality training, meaningful professional development, and opportunities to grow into new roles. We pay fairly, value effort, and listen to every member of our team, because the best solutions often come from those closest to the work.

If you’re passionate about making a difference – and ready to grow alongside the young people we serve – we’d love to start the conversation.

Specific vacancies are listed here as and when they are available. Our recruitment process usually looks something like this:

  • Initial email contact

  • Informal visit to one of our centres to get to know us and explore opportunities.

  • Application Form - your chance to tell us about you, and why you think you might belong with us at Arise Education. Completed forms should be returned by email and will be reviewed by our team as quickly as we can.

  • Formal interview - we aim for this to be a supportive process rather than a grilling!

  • If successful, we'll then carry out further checks in accordance with our Safer Recruitment Policy

Inclusion and belonging is so important to us. We're an equal opportunities employer and we strive to be inclusive at every stage of the recruitment process. We're committed to making reasonable adjustments for candidates with specific needs or disabilities during the process. If you'd like to request an adjustment or to apply for any adverstised roles or for more information including impact profile and person specification, please contact Hannah Jacobs to start the process!
